So I'm sure I am loosing my plug. On Friday evening, I could tell there was some blood with it, then normal color, and last night some more with a bit of blood. How long does it take for the plug to come out? And why is it that some days it was some blood and others not?

I've heard that the blood is from blood vessels bursting as your cervix opens. I know I've never had blood with my plug unless I'm in labor (and labor starts at 1cm for me).

I know that it regenerates and you can loose it multiple times before actually going into labor. I lost mine right before going into labor. It was seriously way more slime/goo than I ever imagined it could be. It was pretty gross.

I never lost mine until I was in labor with Cameron. I never lost it in my other pregnancies when I had c/s's.

The blood is from your cervix, unless it is dark, dark brown. Which means you are dilating some Yay!! And it's only sometimes because of the randomness of the bursting. And I never lost my mucus plug, at least not in a clump. I had some bloody show, which is how I know the blood thing. You are getting so close!

It's been more brown than anything.
When they check your cervix, can some of the blood I had last Friday be because they checked my cervix and it got irritated?
