The hospital gave us a halo fleece swaddling sleep sac. My daughter loves it, but it's soooo warm that it makes her temperature go up. I've tried swaddling her in a blanket, but since it doesn't fasten she's able to escape and then doesn't sleep as well. We've got a SwaddleMe, but it doesn't wrap tightly enough. I've tried wrapping her "miracle blanket" style and she didn't like her arms being pinned to the sides (she likes them on her belly/chest).

Does anyone know of a non-fleece swaddler that fastens and costs less than $15? It seems all the swaddlers that work are so expensive!

Sorry, I don't have any advice. What if you swaddled her in just her diaper?

Halo makes a 100% cotton one also. Check ebay for used ones since I know the new ones are $35.

The one Katie listed is the one I used with both Jacob and Jackson as they were both summer babies and they worked great. Although both of my kids only liked to be swaddled for the first few weeks and then they wanted their freedom.

I found a halo sleep sac that is made out of t-shirt material instead of fleece at Target. It seemed to work well last night for swaddling without making her too hot. I'm happy so far with it.
