My SIL was lucky enough to have her best friend as her nurse and got to go in whenever she wanted to see her baby. (My SIL had 4 mc's before a healthy pregnancy, so it was fascination along with paranoia that had her in that office nearly every day making sure there was still a heartbeat!) Anyway, she was told as early as 14 weeks that she was "probably having a girl"- they said at 14 weeks it was still super early, but thats what it looked like. Of course it was confirmed later on that she was indeed having a little girl.

I found out at 14 weeks with my boys...they said they thought they were, but it wasn't really confirmed until 16 weeks.
