Has anyone had morning sickness with a pregnancy and then went on to get pregnant again and had no morning sickness?

I have heard of people not having morning sickness with their first and then getting with their second, but I have never heard of the opposite.

I had pretty bad morning sickness all the times (last one ending in a loss). And this time I feel so good and it scares me. Us is on Friday and I'm already preparing for the worst. Our DDC has been hit so hard with losses the past two weeks I feel like it's just inevitable for me too.

It just seems too good to be true that I'm feeling so good. I'm a little over 6 weeks.

First off, congrats on your pregnancy! Yes, very possible to have m/s the first time around and not the second. I had horrible m/s with my girls and none with my boys. I had m/s this time around, but only until 8wks (6 to 8wks) and it just stopped overnight and I freaked out! He's a boy! Since your just in the 6th wk, you may get it very soon as well........usually starts in the 6th wk or 7th. Praying for a wonderful report on your u/s!

Totally agree. I have little with my boys but tons with all girls but this little one. This one scared me by having a good start of it and then it just disappeared around week 5. Like you, I thought for sure we lost her. But when I went in, HB was strong and she's growing like a weed.

Good luck on Friday

All pregnancies are different so I think it is totally possible to have really bad morning sickness with the first and then none with the second. I know for me I don't usually start getting morning sickness until around 8 weeks. Good Luck on Friday. I'm praying that you get wonderful results.

Every pregnancy is completely unique - so you can't really compare and having certain symptoms stronger doesn't equate to having a healthier pregnancy/baby.

So try not to worry too much, it's really hard though especially in the first trimester

I had "moderate to mild" MS with my first. ONLY motion sickness with my second, as long as I wasn't in the car, I was totally fine. And some mild MS with this one. So clearly, it is very different.

A good friend of mine is preggo with her second and swears up and down its a boy because she was sick with her first and has no had a seconds trouble with this one. She is 15 weeks and baby is very healthy.

I, too, was sicker with my MC than I was with Kieran. So I wouldn't worry too much yet

The worst morning sickness I had was with one of my miscarriages. My daughters was pretty bad as well but I had almost none with Bryson I was just very tired.

That is interesting. The worst m/s I had was with my miscarriage too. I literally felt like I was dying every day all day long from the day I got my positive test until about 14 weeks.

Only a few more days until Friday! Man this is week is dragging....

Thank you all for your replies!
