Swaddling:

For Mommies: did you swaddle your baby? Are you still swaddling your baby? If you are no longer swaddling, at what age did you stop swaddling?

For pregnant ladies: Have you bought swaddling blankets to swaddle your baby? Do you plan on trying to swaddle baby.

Please share a picture of your LO swaddled if you've got one.

I swaddled Jacob in the hospital but once we got home I stopped swaddling him. He hated it and would squirm and cry until he got his hands free so I just stopped.

This is a pic of Jacob swaddled in the hospital.

My DS could not stand being swaddled! He was in the NICU and so they swaddled him and all he did was scream. A nurse suggested winter sleepers instead of swaddling. With my DD i didnt even try it. With this one im undecided.

We'll probably try it with blankets if we need to... I totally believe in taking baby's cues on this one. My niece absolutely hated being swaddled and she'd scream until we let her hands loose. But because the nurses had told my sister she should do it she kept trying to force it. It took her a couple of weeks to just give up and let the baby have what she wanted...
