Our big one is the weekend before thanksgiving we invite all our friends over and do a huge Thanksgiving dinner with just our friends. Other than that its the in laws for lunch and my aunts for dinner on the day of.
We have begun to alternate between my family and DH's family, they just don't live close enough to each other to do both It also makes it so much easier not having to do both. We also do Elf on the Shelf, started last year, we will do it every morning the day after Thanksgiving - we make him "come down the chimney", left by Santa right by the fireplace. That reminds me, DH needs to pull him out of storage
