Has anyone experience brown discharge or random spotting? It is scaring me even
though they told me not to worry about it. They told me brown blood is olit is red blood, but its like so spuratic. Ill use the bathroom wipe and it will be red and then the next couple days brown discharge and then it goes back to normal, it has happened three times so far

I am 12 weeks and i have had it off and on. It is very normal but still scary. I would try not to worry unless it is red and a large amount or you have period like cramping. I know how hard it is to not worry. I will keep you in my prayers. Please keep us updated.

Lol, sometimes we all need a day like that. Is the spotting getting better?

I had spotting after DH and I DTD while I was pregnant so I got to where I didn't even want to DTD because I was so afraid. Brown blood is old blood and should be nothing to worry about. Have you talked to your dr about maybe doing an ultrasound to help give you some peace of mind?

I hope the bleeding stops soon. I know how hard it is.

It can be normal, but is definitely scary! I always asked for an u/s just to check, especially with my history. Would your doc be willing to do that? Typically, if you have something going on like that, they can code it so insurance covers it as an "emergency" ultrasound, even if it isn't necessary. I had that and bright red gushing with both of my girls too, talk about giving a mama a heart attack!

Hugs, I hope it stops so you can relax a little

I had it a lot with my son, but not this time. It CAN be normal but I would still see a doc.

Spotting is scary, there is a wide range of what can be normal, but as long as it isn't bright red blood you are fine. The first trimester is always the hardest!
