Even though the tests are saying I'm pregnant, I'm scared out of my mind that I'll be one of the unlucky few to lose this baby early. I don't want that at all. Am I worrying over nothing? What can I do to know my chances of keeping this one is high?

I have my rainbow and I don't want to let go.

It is so hard not to be terrified when you are pregnant after loss! Hopefully you have a really understanding OB who will take extra steps to make you feel calm. Mine ran beta's, and gave me quick vaginal u/s at each appt. up until when I was far enough along to hear the heart beat on the doppler. It made all the difference. I would have been a total wreck in those early weeks otherwise. Praying for you, that everything goes perfectly!!

It is so hard to not worry. I agree with doremi, maybe your ob can take some extra steps to give you some comfort. I will keep you in my prayers.

It's perfectly normal to worry. My OB reassured me by doing lots of betas and an early ultrasound. Hopefully your doctor will do the same.

and super sticky baby dust to you!

thank you ladies so much. I'm going to try and see about seeing my doctor sometime this monday or tuesday before the roadtrip to VA for Thanksgiving. If I can't I'll just have to convince my husband that I'm buying more FRER for security! lol

I hope they can get you in for peace of mind! My OB was very understanding and told me to call whenever I needed to.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I agree that seeing your OB will be the best reassurance that you can get. I hope you can get in to see your dr before you leave for your trip. Early pregnancy is so hard after a loss. We are here for you if you need us. I'm praying that that is your beautiful rainbow. Let us know after you talk to your dr's office.

It's very scary after your loss, Ive had two sonograms already and seen the heartbeat in both and I am still worrying, I hope your doctor can get you in because there is nothing more helpful than at least putting your mind at ease for a little bit. Good luck & Congratulations
