Hi! My name is Heather. I am a wife to Joe, and Mom to Noah (9) and Jonah (7). I just found out 5 days ago that I am pregnant, and although I am happy, I am also very scared. Back in Oct 2011 I had a pretty traumatizing loss at 17 weeks (delivered the baby, then had a D&C to remove the placenta). It was my second loss, but for worse than the first.
Anyway, I just noticed this board here on JM and thought I'd come say 'Hi". I'm hopeful for this pregnancy, but understandably nervous also.

Welcome Heather! I'm sorry for your loss. Everyone here has had a loss in some form so we understand the nervousness. I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby, I had a loss early this year. I'm definitely a lot more nervous than I was with my first pregnancy. A loss changes you--no doubt about it.
I hope you find the support and friendship here that you're looking for! This is a great group of ladies.

According to my LMP, I am due 8/23. My first appt with the doc is Feb 1, so I will get my official EDD then.
