I am 24 years old, I work at a mortgage company Monday-Friday 8-5
I have a 3 1/2 year old son. I am almost 9 weeks pregnant. I have had REALLY bad morning sickness and feel sick and or tired the rest of the day, I am on prometrium so that plus the pregnancy of course is causing me to feel the way that I do. My Husband works at night and does not get to bed till about 4 in the morning, I am having trouble getting myself ready for work and my son ready for daycare in the morning.

all i want to do anymore in the morning before I get out of bed is CRY because i know how it is going to go.
the 2nd I get out of bed, I feel the sickness coming. Need to hurry to the Toilet or find a trash can.
so once I have picked my self back up from wasting 15-20 mins in the bathroom. YUCK then I need to go wake up Brandon. ( which is not the easiest thing to do ) He fights with me not wanting to wear the clothes or shoes I picked out for him, brush his teeth..eating breakfast etc etc. By this time I am already running late and my emotions have got the best of me. I feel like I am asking to much to have my husband get up and help me out. BUt I just do not know how much more of this I can take.

Any one have any advise or are dealing with the same thing, to maybe make my mornings a little easier?

Have you asked your doctor about medication for m/s? My morning sickness never went away with this pregnancy and I am still on medication. It really helped me. For a while every morning was a struggle, I felt sick at work and was generally miserable. Sorry you are feeling this way.

I talked to my doctor today and since I am on medicine right now they did not want to prescribe me any thing but they did suggest OTC Emetrol? It's liquid I am not sure how well that will go over with me, ( HATE Liquid medicine )But maybe I will give it a try. Anything to make me feel a little better. So it seems that you got over the morning sickness so maybe I will have a chance, right now I feel like I am going to be sick forever.

I still have it if I forget to take the medication but it did ease off after 9 weeks. I hope it gets better for you.

For most people the m/s wears off by the end of the first tri--not that it helps right now. Have you tried perrier water or gingeral/soda water, this is what helps my m/s the most, and try eating a few crackers before even getting out of bed to try and help settle your stomache. I sure hope you feel better soon!

I can totally sympathize and unfortunately nothing worked for me. I was late or called in ALOT in the first trimester because I always was over the toilet half the morning and over my trash can at work in my cubicle (talk about humiliation). I did take some of the meds , I tried 3 different kinds and non of them really worked for me. I really hope you do find something that works for you, BIG HUGS

I have been on several meds throughout this pregnancy and am still. If I forget one I do get sick and even with the meds I still have bad days. I take 8mg oral zofran every 6hrs and then phenegran 25mgs and reglan as needed. I end up rotating the 2 during the day. The emetrol did not help me.. I never could hold it down. I did get the wristbands that are supposed to help w/ vomiting and they were a little bit of a help. You wear the metal circle on your pressure points in your wrists. Also pecans helped, I know they sound gross but there is something in them that helped more than crackers for me.
