Diaper Pails:

For mommies: do you have a diaper pail? Is it something that you could not live without? What brand diaper pail do you have?

For pregnant Ladies: Do you plan on getting a diaper pail?



We have a diaper dekor plus. I got it when I was pregnant with Jackson and used it for his stinky diapers and now I am using it for Jacob's stinky diapers. For me it is a must have and I could not live without, but I use disposable so I just put the stinky ones in there and they are forgotten about after that. the diaper pail takes care of any stink.

I've never used a diaper pail, so IDK if I'd prefer it or not. Most of the time we have had to live pretty frugally so DS's diapers just go in a garbage bag. I take them to the trash more frequently I'm sure, than I would have to if I had a diaper pail. But it's worked out all right for me.

Leave it. I like having as little as possible and this item did not make the cut.

We have the Diaper Champ, I like it because we can put ANY type of bag in it, we just use our regular kitchen trash bags. It doesn't take care of the smell as well as the genie, but it does a pretty good job. If we are downstairs, I don't use it, I just throw them in the trash. If we are in her room, I throw whatever diaper I have changed into it. I almost got a 2nd one for downstairs, but decided against it.

We use cloth diapers and I have 2 reusable hanging wet bags that rotate, they get washed with the diapers. I spray Bac Out on the rinsed off poopy ones so we have zero odor even though the top is open to the air. Air flow helps cloth diapers stink less. Disposables are way stinkier in my (limited) experience.

Leave it! It is terrible when you have to unload it. The smell is terrible.
