Hi ladies of the PAL,

If this posts twice I apologize.

It has been a long week since my last Beta and I had my first ultrasound today. Doc saw a 17mm gestational sac and a tiny yolk sac but no heartbeat. Doc says this is consistent with a pregnancy right at 5 1/2 weeks, if I calculate from my ovulation date I am 5w5d today so that seems about right.

They drew my blood to check my progesterone and I asked about a Beta. The tech said she could add it if I wanted but that they saw everything they needed on the ultrasound. I finally decided not to have the Beta done, I have done nothing but dwell on these numbers for close to 3 weeks now. I am leaving it in God's hands.

Doc says I now have an 80% chance of having a rainbow baby. Please pray for a strong heartbeat next Wed, 3/20. I will be exactly 7 weeks.

Sounds like things are right on track. I don't blame you for not wanting more beta's done. I think we dwell way too much on numbers and make ourselves crazy. I'll be praying that next week you see that beautiful heartbeat. Please update us after your appointment.

Sounds perfect to me! I was checked out the other night, and I measured at 16mm sac, with a yolk too. I was 5w4d by O date. I will get a private u/s this Friday to confirm viability, as Im sick of going to the er and getting betas too. My last beta was 22,231 and was doubling perfect, so hoping for a h/b on Friday. I will be 6w3d. Praying for your h/b next week too!!
