Let's hear your moans for this Monday!!

My little Jackson has a cavity in his back tooth and this morning we went to the dentist for the fourth time to get it filled and he still would not let the dentist fill the cavity. We even gave him some medicine sort of like valium to help relax him and he still wouldn't let the dentist fill it. So I took another day off work and he still wouldn't let them do it. So know we will try again in a few months. Just hoping that it doesn't start hurting him before them. And of course I feel like a terrible mother for letting him get a cavity in the first place but his dentist said that some kids will just get them no matter how often you brush his teeth. I have always brushed them twice a day and he really doesn't eat that much junk food but he got a darn cavity anyway.

It's Monday, that is my moan...lol!

I hope his tooth doesn't bother him too much! I am surprised that they are going to fill a cavity for a baby tooth, is it because of the pain? ANd don't beat yourself up, there are lots of people that get cavities no matter how well maintained their teeth are and there are people that don't take care of their teeth well at all and have perfect dental hygiene...it's just one of those things!

I thought it was weird that they wanted to fill a cavity for a baby tooth also but it is his very back tooth on the bottom and the dr said it would be one of the last teeth to fall out. Most likely it wouldn't fall out until around the age of 7 so it would definitely start bothering him before then. Thankfully it hasn't started bothering him yet and I'm hoping that we can get it filled before it does start bothering.
