For pregnant ladies: have you felt baby move yet? If yes when did you first feel baby move?

For Mommies: When did you first feel baby move? if you've had more than one baby did you feel the second sooner that the first?

I have not felt this baby move yet but I'm only 7 weeks so baby is still very tiny.

With Jackson I didn't feel him move until around 18 weeks. I think I probably felt him move but didn't realize that is what I was feeling. I was around 14 weeks when I first felt Jacob move but I knew what early baby movement felt like the second time around.

I didn't feel Ethan move until about 19 weeks. And Kody was right around the same time, 19-20 weeks...even though I knew what to look for with Kody, I had an anterior placenta that made it more difficult to feel him. Probably had it with Ethan, too, but I didn't know to ask.

Not yet. I'm only 13 weeks though. But I do feel the ball which is my uterus. Sometimes it tightens up. Or I feel it shift inside me (like when I turn laying down).

I was told I have an anterior plancenta too! Anything else I should worrry about with that besides feeling movements later EverydayJoy?

I felt Reagan move at about 11 weeks (I know early, but it definitely was not gas and my doc said it was totally possible for that to have been what I felt). With Addy, I was about 11 or 12 weeks when I felt a flutter also. I miss that!

I felt slight flutters(more like twitches, but definitely baby) as early as 9.5wks with my last 4.....definite flutters by 11-12wk, nice little movements by 14wks and could see the baby kicks by 18wks with most of mine. I did have an anterior placenta with my last baby, and although I felt him really early, between 15-19wks, it got much harder as the placenta grew and covered alot of his movements. After 19wks with my anterior placenta, the movements were strong again, just not like it is with a posterior placenta.

With my first I felt movements between 13-14 weeks. I didn't know for sure at the time if it was baby movement or not, but once it started becoming much more noticeable it proved to me that's what it was all along. I couldn't feel the kicks from the outside of my stomach until about 19-ish weeks? I can't remember exactly.

This time I have felt a tapping sensation in my uterus 3 different days this past week/weekend (13 weeks along). Right now it seems to be a once every couple of days type thing. I can't wait until it becomes a frequent occurrence. Oh and I don't/didn't have an anterior placenta with either pregnancy.

Carey that is my favorite part of pregnancy feeling that sweet little baby move around inside of me. It always makes me feel so blessed to be a woman. Men will never get to feel their child moving around inside of them.

Amy that's awesome that you are already feeling your little guy move around. I can't wait until I feel mine.

The only other thing that I noticed was that it seemed like both my boys' movements were soft. Like I never got woken up at night from getting kicked like I've heard other women do, I never really had any take-my-breath-away kicks during the day either. I felt the kicks after the 20 week mark, but they were always kind of laid-back. Nothing you need to worry about though, I still felt enough kicks to know that they were all right. And an anterior placenta is very normal, no worries about anything bad with that.
