I am SCARED to death!!! I am 6w5d today by ovulation date and I am just terrified baby will measure behind and we won't see a heartbeat. I know I should think positive, but I am sooooo nervous.
I do have a history of loss, but have had many healthy pregnancies since my last one, so keep trying to tell my heart that it's being silly. Gah. I wish my head would listen.

If you pray and wouldn't mind, would you lift me and my bean up in prayer today/tomorrow morning? I'd really appreciate it. Update tomorrow. Thanks!!!

Praying for you and your little bean. I'm sure your ultrasound will go great. Please update us afterwards.

I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. That first u/s is always nerve-raking. I'm sure everything will go great. Update us when you can.

I hope all goes well. It's easy to have the logic in your head that it's going to be ok, but very hard to believe it in your heart when you have had losses. Keep us posted!

We went and I measured a bit behind for even MY dates. We were sure of ovulation and should have measured 6w6d and instead measured 6w3d. I guess a 3 day difference isn't that bad. The BEST part??? Blob had a STRONG hb of 129!
It was just there flickering away. I saw it as soon as he put the probe (yuck!!!) in!!
Amazing and so relieved.

now, to deal with this constant morning sickness.

Yay that's great. I wouldn't worry about a few days. So glad that baby is doing good. Seeing that heartbeat is one of the best parts of pregnancy. Makes me so happy.

Sorry you had to get the probe (and with a male u/s tech, no less!), but so happy to hear your little bean is doing well! I think it's normal for u/s's to be off by a day or two. I was absolutely sure of conception too, down to the day, and they gave me a due date a few days different from that. No biggie!

Great update! I measured behind in the beginning, even knowing my O date 100%. I should of been 6w3d at u/s and measured 6w1d. At 9wks, he measured 4 days ahead, lol. They always catch up!

My doc always told me that the u/s was "accurate" with a +/- of 4 days I think it was.

Yay for a strong hb!!
