What's everybody got going on this weekend? Anything fun and exciting?

Jackson turns 4 next week so we are going to have his birthday party tomorrow. He is so excited. DH took the day off from work today so he could make his cake. He is making him a lightning Mcqueen cake. I'll post pics Monday of the cake. He does all of the birthday cakes and does a great job. Just hoping that I feel ok. this nausea has been kicking my rear end lately and I've felt terrible.

We got Jackson a Big Wheel for his birthday so I know he is going to love that. We also got him some new dump trucks and digger toys. He loves playing in the back yard digging in the mud.

Sunday will be a day of rest for us. I'll need the day to recover from the birthday party.

I hope all you wonderful ladies have fabulous weekends!!

We are going to my parents. My mom is graduating with her Bachelor's and the graduation and party are both tomorrow. Sunday we will go back home in the morning and hopefully get some cleaning and stuff done (mostly need to put laundry away...I HATE doing that).

Sounds like lots of fun, Melissa! I can't wait to see the cake.

I'm hoping DH will be back home by this weekend, if so, we'll just hang out together and go to church on Sunday. But it's always nice to have Daddy home

I've been going to the park with the kids every day this week, and it's been fun. Maybe we'll do that with Daddy too.

I hate doing laundry too...putting away is my least favorite part as well!

Carey that's awesome about your mom!! Congratulations. A degree is a big achievement.

Joy glad you DH will be home. I'm sure it is so nice to have him there. I know when my DH travels for work it is terrible.

Yes, it is, she has been working on it since before I was born I was the reason she didn't finish it the first time...lol! People ask me why she is bothering because she has done really well without it, it's because she feels like she has achieved something else in life. She also can have more options if she wants to look elsewhere for work. I am proud of her!

I will probably end up visiting with my sister since she hasn't been feeling well. She's not sick, just depressed... and I know how that feels. She's been wanting me to come by so we will probably go out to lunch or go shopping, then go back to her house and talk.

Everyone's plans sound nice, except having to work, but at least there will be air conditioning!

That's sweet of you to visit your sister, Ame.
My sister has never had a depressed day in her life (so she says), so she doesn't really understand it. It helps to have someone that understands it if you suffer from it, their sympathy can be a little pick-me-up.
