for those of you who do not know my story I am going to make a long story short for everyone so you have an idea: I am 9 weeks & 3 days pregnant. I have a son who is 3 1/2. last year I had 3 miscarriages. I have been on prometrium for about 7 weeks for low hormones. when I was 7 weeks pregnant I saw and heard the heart beat it was a really great feeling.

But I am starting to count down the days till I get past the First Treimester
25 more days today

I can not wait tell the risk of a miscarriges becomes lowers. I still have fears about it everyday and hoping that once I am in the 2nd Trimester that fear goes away.

I hope they go away for you too. They didn't for me, I worried this entire pregnancy. I am still worrying like crazy and I only have 3 more days.

I agree with Susan- for me there was no magic number that lessened the fear! I think the fear just changed- instead of worrying there wouldnt be a hearbeat on the doppler, I was worried I would stop feeling movement and the cord would be tangled or that there would be a deformity! I worry about it all!!!

I am counting the days too, but I'm not sure what to count as past the 1st trimester. 12 weeks? 13? 14? I keep hearing lots of different things. I'm pretty sure I will worry the whole time though. When you have had a loss it's pretty hard not to!

OMG I can totally relate... I was so right there with you. I really hated the 1st trimester (except for all the u/s I got--- that was kinda nice). But, I was just so dang worried all the time. Well... now I'm at 20 weeks!!! I am also finding out the sex of my little bean today- YIKES! And now... I LOVE being pregnant!

You'll be fine. I think that seeing that h/b is the biggest hurdle you'll have to face... and it looks like you made it! Congrats!
