Does she know when she ovulated? My guess is that she just ovulated late and that is why baby wasn't as far along as she thought she was. When does she go back in for another ultrasound. Hopefully at that u/s the baby will have grown appropriately and be ok. Tell her good luck. she can come here if she needs anything.

Thank you so much ! She doesn't know when she Ovulated at all & took a hpt on a whim. She didn't say when she's going back & I didn't want to prod too much. I just though since the hpt was over 3 weeks ago she would be further along but then thought the same thing you did... she probably ovulated late. I'm trying to be sensitive & just answer her questions. Thanks you !

I don't have any specific advice, other than maybe she could get her blood drawn to make sure her HCG levels are doubling appropriately? The early part of pregnancy has to be the most nerve-wracking, because you don't have the baby kicking yet to reassure you. I hope she gets some good news soon!
