I have this really sweet young girl in my DDC who has just been told that she has GD but her dr has given her no guidance whatsoever and she is having a really hard time. She does have an appointment next week to see another dr who will hopefully help her but I was hoping that somebody here might have had GD and could give her some guidance in the meantime or direct her to some reading material that might be helpful. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

here is the link to her thread.

Thanks. I don't really seem to recall anybody here who has had GD but thought I would this just to see if anybody could help her.

Yeah I saw that I skimmed through most of the posts, but read hers. It seems scary, but it's not as scary as most think. I just have to work really hard at eating what I should and stay away (most of the time) from certain foods.
That's so kind that you reached out to help her. I really like how supportive this board seems to be
