I'd get into your dr- if anything it will ease your mind. I remember this same thing when the movement wasnt as strong or as often as is it now- I would be pushing on my stomach, shaking things up just to try and feel something and sometimes I couldnt get a response for a long time- it freaked me out!

How are you doing? Did you feel any movemnet yet or go to the doctor?

When I don't feel the baby move, I try to eat something sweet and then lie down or sit down with a book. It usually works. Also at 18 weeks, it's perfectly normal not to feel the baby consistently. MAybe it moved into a different position and is kicking you on teh back wall and not teh stomach wall of teh uterus.

I remember feeling that way about the baby. There were times I thought too much time has gone by. My Dr. said to drink some juice and lay quietly. If it doesn't work after 20 minutes to repeat. If you don't feel movement then call. I hope all is ok.

I PM'd her last week after reading this and she said all is well. She saw her midwife and baby is doing fine.
