Trying to stay calm- today I noticed a very tiny bit of faint pinkish brown spotting (I'm 17 weeks). I didn't have sex or do anything very physical today. I do take low-dose aspirin. My abdomen has really grown over the last week, so I know the tissues have probably been under some strain. Haven't felt movement yet- I have an anterior placenta.

I'm going to call my OB in the morning. Anyone else have this?

I hope it's nothing!
I personally haven't experienced spotting after 9 weeks but I know there is a good number of women who bleed all throughout their pregnancy. Not sure if that makes you feel any better. Do you feel like you could have a UTI or bladder infection?

I was just at the OB on Tuesday and had a urinalysis, which was clear.

I haven't had spotting since about 7 - 8 weeks along. But I hear it's very common. Some women just have more sensitive cervixes or something else that could cause it.
Did you get an appointment to get checked out?

I've been having light red streaks in my CM over the past few weeks (no sex etc). It's not all the time but it's there it seems at least once a week. Even some brownish color in my CM. I'm only 12 weeks (tomorrow) but I've been to the Dr. twice since the spotting started and each time everything was fine. They said my cervix just bleeds easily.

Have you asked your Dr. if you can come in to have it checked out?

You need to go to the Dr. I have never experienced spotting that late in pregnancy. Since it's not like a lot of blood I'm sure it's just from the cervix but you do need to let your doctor know of any signs of blood.

It sounds like cervical blood to me... Sometimes it just happens. BUT go get checked out for peace of mind and KUP.

I had spotting when I was pregnant with Jackson at 28 weeks. I freaked out and went in to see the dr. He did an ultrasound and found nothing wrong. I did have a yeast infection which I don't think would have explained the blood though. Dr couldn't give me an explanation for the blood and I don't think he really knew but it only lasted one day and was just some spotting and as you know Jackson was born 11 weeks later perfectly healthy.

let us know what the dr says.

Yeast infections can cause spotting. Especially brown streaks because the irritation causes slight bleeding and the blood dries quickly. Mel, let us know what the OB says. You were just there and saw everything was ok right? It's probably just the cervix, but better for peace of mind to get checked out again. My OB says any spotting to come right in.

Good Luck and KUP. Prayers for you!

Thank you all for the good thoughts. Everything is okay (at least, as far as I can tell). I called my OB, and she had me go in for a level 2 ultrasound this morning. Baby girl was wriggling all over the place and grabbing her feet The ultrasound techs called up to my OB's office after the scan to see if they wanted me to go up to the office- and they did not. So... I don't know. At least baby is okay. I was told my OB's office would get the official scan results today or tomorrow, and so I'm assuming they'll call me. I have not had any more spotting. I'm dropping my pants about every 20 minutes just to look, lol. Maybe it's a yeast infection, or some other kind of irritation.

Im happy baby girl is doing good! Ive only ever spotted/bled until aout 10wks with one of my pregnancy's, other than this last time with bleeding at 35wks (placenta abruption) I hope they can at least tell you where it came from. Even with my placenta abruting, they never did confirm it on u/s. I had 2 of them, level II, the day it abrupted, and they never saw it coming.

I'm so glad everything is fine, Mel! I know that any amount of bleeding is scary. I'm glad your doc got you in right away and everything looked good! (((HUGS)))
