For Pregnant Ladies: What is everybody snacking on these days? Are you keeping it healthy or not so much?
For Moms: What did you snack on during pregnancy? Did you keep it healthy or not so much?
I try to only eat healthy snacks. My favorites are bananas, hard boiled eggs, almonds and fruit. I found these frozen cherries that are awesome and I have been eating them alot, plus I am loving pineapple.

When I was pg with DS, I ate mashed potatoes for every meal and snack. I gained over 50 lbs.
This time I'm not snacking at all. I eat plain hot cereal with a handful of nuts and no sweetener for breakfast. Leftovers for lunch (measured, usually a cup of starch and one protein and one veggie) and I cook a protein for dinner, two veggies and one starch. All our foods are whole foods - we grow everything (including our meat) so there isn't anything boxed or processed.
I drink water or hot tea with no sweetener during the day. This is undoubtedly going to change. With the holidays coming up and cookies everywhere, I'm sure to start eating myself silly.

I can't do much snacking right now. My stomach is all smushed up and I get heartburn. I eat breakfast and a late lunch but no dinner otherwise I can't sleep because of the acid going up my throat. I've been a milk-aholic for a while now. It was chocolate milk at first and now it's white milk. If I want a "snack" I usually drink a cup of milk. We go through a gallon of milk every 2-3 days now just because of me (DH rarely drinks white milk and never alone, it has to be with cereal or something like that).
Well I'm trying to stick to the meal plan the GD counselor and I made up to keep my sugars low. So snack tends to be string cheese and whole grain crackers, or 1/2 a banana with cottage cheese, or a handful of nuts and some dried fruit.
I'm snacking mostly healthy- I *love* sweets but honestly, have been so hungry lately that I want real food. Almonds, greek yogurt, bananas, apples with peanut butter. I also eat keep Clif protein bars around- they have 20g of protein and taste decent.
I've been not so good the last few weeks, but most days I don't snack much. Maybe a granola bar extra through the day. I've had several days , maybe 2 or 3 days a week, where we had sweets hanging around though, and I'm pretty bad about having more than I should. I try not to have sweets around very often just for that reason though.
