The baby stopped moving today for several hours. I remember sitting at lunch thinking, she hasn't moved much. We drove home an hour, watched an hour of TV (she's usually super active during TV) and I took a nap. When I woke up I was realllllly thinking something was up. She always wiggles around lots when I'm just waking up!

I got up, had a snack, had some ice water and some cold milk to try and get her. Then I got the Doppler out and her heartbeat was really strong!

Well, I was still concerned so I had DH bring two cans of Pepsi home from his parents house. I downed them both and then the fireworks started! Wow! Sorry, baby girl, for the caffeine boost!

She's been going nuts ever since, making my stomach jump and roll with whatever she's doing in there!

Oh well, I feel better when she's going nuts than if she's not. I was surprised at how much she made my stomach jump!

I'm so glad everything's all right! She must have been getting an extended snooze! Now she's making up for lost time eh?

I've had the same thing happen. I don't feel her for awhile, get worried, drink a soda or eat a piece of chocolate. And then bam! Little one is kicking and punching like crazy - saying, yep I'm here and awake!
They are tricky little ones

Glad she's ok. I've had that happen a time or two and like you ladies I down some caffeine and that seems to get him going everytime. I wish pregnancy wasn't so hard and I wasn't so paranoid.

My little man does that to me a lot. He has day's where he doesn't move much or very strong so I may not notice it for a while, but then I mess with him and he starts kicking around like crazy! It's such a relief when that happens.
