Where is a good place to find cute maternity business work clothes? I know motherhood has some cute stuff but they are a little on the pricey side. I don't want to spend a ton but I have to get something! It stinks because once spring gets here I'll have to buy some summer stuff too since I'll be pregnant into June a couple weeks.

I didn't have this problem when I was pregnant with my daughter...I didn't have to dress up that much at that time.

The only other places that I've gotten maternity clothes besides motherhood, is Target and Ross. Oh I did get a top from JCPenny's but it wasn't very cheap.

Ross is a good suggestion, I've never been there but have been wanting to go. I'm going to have to drag my daughter out in the cold this weekend to shop since my husband will be in class all day for work. This will be interesting - I always struggle getting her in her car seat with her winter coat, I can't pull the stupid thingy that makes the straps tighter!!!! Oh well, I need to get new clothes desperately!

Maternity Clothes are expensive, no matter what. Target is a little cheaper and Macy's has a maternity section, but limited. If you're going to shop, do it now - everything is on clearance. I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a coat, everything has just gotten too small and I can't zip anything up - and with temps below freezing for weeks on end this year, I just can't go without. We're actually going tomorrow night after work to brave the crowds and hit the sales.

We see alot of stuff online. You might have to wear a little biz casual, since suits and such just aren't around for the big bellies.

Believe it or not Goodwill (and the like) actually has (or ours does) a large maternity section. Most of the stuff comes from places like Motherhood and some of the higher priced places. And ours had lots of cute work style items, pants, blouses, skirts. I wasn't looking for work stuff myself, but did notice it. I did buy something from Motherhood this time around, and a pair of maternity pants from Target this time around. But what I spent between those two items I was able to get 5 pairs of pants and probably about 5 shirts, plus DD a couple of pairs of jeans at Goodwill for the same amount.
Ross is also good as is TJMax.

Kohl's has maternity, too. I think they're pretty reasonable when stuff is on sale.

Yes Kohl's has great sales. I didn't know they had a maternity section, it's been so long since I've been in there. I might have to go check them out myself

I've gotten a few things from Kohl's maternity section (it's small) and also Ann Taylor LOFT maternity- online only. Today (12/26) they're having a 50% off everything sale.

I was going to suggest Goodwill and other thrift stores also. I just don't understand why maternity stuff is so much more expensive. I don't have many maternity clothes and half of them are borrowed because of how much they cost.

I *think* maternity stuff is more expensive because they know we want to look cute and with hormones might not be thinking rational That was my big reason going to Goodwill, I figure most of the things (at least the pants) I would only be wearing a few months and paying $4 a pair compared to the $35 a pair I paid at Target made sense to me.
Oh and check baby/mommy consignment shops or resale shops as well.

That makes sense, but I still wish it was cheaper.

I just thought about that they have local swap pages on Facebook and there are sometimes people selling maternity clothes on Craigslist if you're comfortable meeting people to buy stuff that way. Like there are swap pages for my town on Facebook for all sorts of things, including clothes. Also, if you're willing to ask around sometimes someone you know might know a person selling their stuff. You can get some things cheaper that way, but there's no guarantee you'll find what you were wanting either so it's not always worth the time.

I've bought some maternity clothes on Ebay, too. I've gotten a few clunkers (eg 2 shirts out of a lot of 9 that I don't like at all) but if you know the brands you like and sizes you can get some great deals.

Look on Ebay. I have to wear suits several times a week and I just couldn't find any nice ones that didn't cost a fortune so I looked on ebay and found some nice maternity clothes to wear to work that were inexpensive. They were used but honestly when I got them you couldn't even tell that they had been used before.

I found some really cute stuff at Marshalls for cheap and as somebody else mentioned Target as well. Forever 21 surprisingly had some really cute and cheap stuff but I felt silly in the store and not all of them have a maternity section (I read somewhere they closed it down maybe?? but ours still has a small section)

I've found some awesome staple pieces like dressy slacks and dresses on Haute Mommies and Bella Babies. They have really cute clothes that are great quality.
