Just wondering when everybody takes down all of their Christmas decorations? I am so ready to get ours down plus our tree is dying so the darn thing is shedding needles like crazy and they are everywhere. We usually wait until New Years Day to take ours down but I finally convinced DH that we need to go ahead and get ours down so tonight we are taking them down and getting that darn tree out of our house.

We took the tree outside about 4 days ago. We left the lights on it though and plugged it in for 3 nights and then took it away yesterday. The rest of the decorations got put away this morning. With the exception of some window clings - 2 snowmen and some snowflakes. I think I'll leave those up until I get bored with them or until they start falling off

We planned to take everything down on Sunday but I was way too nauseous all day. So now I am hoping to do it on the 1st and have a productive New Years Day.

I still have mine up, though I did very little- no tree this year. I just didn't really feel like it. I put up stockings, a wreath, my collection of 6 Nutcrackers. I made a dining table centerpiece of a bunch of favorite ornaments in a large cut class bowl, over a red tablecloth.

I'll probably take stuff down this upcoming weekend. Technically the 12 days of Christmas end January 6, with Epiphany. Though I'm not really following that schedule- it's only justification for leaving stuff up that long

DH just put our fake tree up the weekend before Christmas, so it's only been up a week. I don't feel like messing with it to be honest. We will probably leave it up another 2-3 weeks unless DH takes everything down by himself, but I don't see that happening lol.

Ours has yet to come down. Last year we left it up soooo long, the needles were everywhere. DH is anxious t help me put it up but never wants to take it down. He loves the tree.

We don't have too many other decorations -- table nativity, stockings, and a few table decorations. They just get put in the box with the tree decorations.

DH undecorated the tree on Sunday, then we took about half of what he had up down. I did do all of the decorating this year, but I did do a lot. We still have tons of bins upstairs that need to go back to the basement...I am having anxiety over this, but no time to deal with it until tomorrow or this afternoon (if I get out early). I also took Friday off so that I can purge toys...I can't take the mess anymore, lol!

Our tree was dead and shedding too, so as soon as I was feeling up to it (had that stomach bug go around our fam), I took that darn thing down. It feels good to have our living room back. I was tired of picking pine needles out of Kody's fingers!

While we had everything back in their tubs we didn't have them put in their spot yet. Did that today. So officially everything (except those 2 snowman window clings) are put away. I agree, it's nice to have the living room back.

I got everything but the actual tree put up last weekend. I've been feeling not so great with a cold since then. I'll get to the tree whenever I feel better.
