We had our anatomy scan yesterday and everything looks great! Only main issue is the placenta is low. At first the tech was thinking complete previa but after she did a transvag ultrasound to check for preterm labor, realized the placenta is a marginal previa. They will be keeping an eye on it but it is expected it will move out of the way in time and told me not to worry. The only reason I worry about it is b/c the placenta was also low with Cade and it was suspected the bleeding happened when it moved up and away from the cervix at around 18 weeks. But, everything seems to be fine so far. Also, no signs of preterm labor at all. Cervix is long and closed. She even put pressure on my belly to watch for any changes and all was fine. So that was a relief. Also, baby is still a girl! Measuring about 11 oz. Here are some pics

And one of my favorites of her chowing down on her hand

Awe! Cute baby!!! I am so glad she is so healthy. I had Marginal Previa at that point in my pregnancy as well. It was a lot better 2 weeks ago, but still isn't far enough for non continuous monitoring. We will see how it is again in a little over a week. I bet that it will be great for you too.

Glad that everything is going so good for you Lindsey. I had a low lying placenta with Jacob and it moved up and out of the way but I understand why this might give you cause for concern. I'm glad that it looks ok. When will they check it again?

Love the sweet pictures.

Beautiful Baby Lindsey! As always, we are thinking of you! Do you have a doppler? We found ours to be so awesome, I used it several times a day for peace of mind (who am I kidding, I never had complete peace of mind).

We are all so happy for you!

Oh so precious! What a wonderful pic of your sweet baby girl! So so happy for you!

I agree on the doppler, I still pull mine out when he's quiet and not bumping around much.

Thank you ladies!!

Rachel ~ I didn't realize yours was a marginal. Thankfully yours is making some progress and hopefully soon you will be in the clear!

Melissa ~ They will recheck it at 28 weeks

Leia ~ Thank you so much I do have a doppler I don't use it very much anymore though bc I feel her moving a lot now. She is a busy little bee! But it makes me feel better to know I have the doppler just in case.

Susan ~ HI!!!! I'm so glad you are here with us! I was wondering why you weren't in our group when I first joined over here but I'm glad you are here now So exciting you are 35 weeks! Getting SOOOOO close!

Thanks again everyone for your kind comments I will keep you all posted after the 28 week u/s
