For Moms: did you get a baby carrier? Which one did you get? Would you recommend it to other moms?

For Pregnant Ladies: Do you plan on getting a baby carrier? What kind are you planning on getting?

I got a ring sling and I hated it. I never could figure the darn thing out and then when I did put Christian in it, I didn't feel like he was secure.

I also got an Ergo which I love. I have to use the infant insert right now and sometimes Christian doesn't like it. If he's tired he does great in it but if he's awake he doesn't really like it. I think it will be great to use when he is big enough to use it without the infant insert. It is easy to put on and I feel like he is nice and secure in there. I would definitely recommend the Ergo but not a ring sling.

I have a K'tan for when baby is tiny, and an Ergo for when she's a little bigger. We'll see how it goes!

How have I missed this post?! I have a Boba wrap. Everyone talks about the moby wrap but I really like the boba. Hey look similar, but boba has more stretchy fabric for (IMO) a secure but flexible carry. It took a while to get past the learning curve to put it on. It feels more comfy the bigger he is. Also, it holds/carrys him high, so it's less pressure "down there". I have a ergo my neighbor gave me. DS liked it in the infant insert but now is in just the carrier and it's just "ok". It is definitely easier to clip the ergo on though! There are other structured carriers that have a insert snapped on. For those researching, I'd check out Boba 4G and the Gemini. As for ring sling- I tried one and returned it. It was great to have an adjustable option. It was easy. But the ring placed a lot of pressure on my breasts.

I have a K'Tan. Kody is 20 lbs and I still use it. I have used it with him since he was a newborn and loved it all along. Sometimes it was the only way I could get him to sleep.

I have the moby wrap. I like it so far. It's nice for when I'm out or when he doesn't want to be put down.

My sister is giving me her moby wrap that she never used with her son... So I'm excited about that!

I have no idea what these wraps are. What are they? I had a Bjorn for DS1 and gave it away when he grew out of it. I was planning on getting another one for DS2, I liked it alot and it felt secure and was adjustable enough that it fit around DH, who is built like an NFL linebacker.

They're basically a piece of long stretchy fabric that can be wrapped to hold the baby against you in different positions.

I have a Baby K'tan and I love it. It's like the Moby, but is easier to use.
