Went in today for her 2 week (almost 3 week) check up. The NP was very impressed with how well she's doing, especially for a 35 weeker. I don't believe they adjust their percentile ratings based on being a preemie because she is ranked in the 66% for her weight (8 pounds 15 ounces now), and I know a lot of full term babies who are smaller And for her height (she's now 22.5 inches) she is off the chart the NP said, but her chart shows 100% So now she's good to go until her 2 month check up. On a messy side note DH was worried because she didn't poo all yesterday or this morning (NP said very normal at this stage), but this afternoon she made up for it! When I noticed I called DH and said it was what he'd been waiting for. So he marched her down the hall to the changing table singing 'Poopy baby, poopy baby'.

Sounds good. Just wanted to add that Toren went a whole month, not exaggerating at all, before pooping. He goes every 2-5 days now. It's normal for EBF babies to go every two weeks. I didn't know that at first and was worried sick! I'm glad to hear everything is going well with y'all. Your DH is cute

I didn't know that Ame. Both DS1 and DS2 are frequent flyers on poop diapers. At least 3 a day. When we switched DS1 to formula, he got terribly constipated and I had to switch formulas until he started going more regularly.

Wow hard to believe she is almost 3 weeks old already! Time sure does fly! I'm so glad all is well with your sweet little Truely.

Thanks everyone. And wow Toren, I would have been seriously freaked if Truely didn't go for a month. I knew it was common for many days for BF babies, but that long? Wowsers. Since we were also supplementing with formula and it's been awhile since we had a newborn so DH was worried.
