If you are or have breastfed did you just keep taking your prenatal vitamins? did you use a DHA supplement?

I took a prenatal supplement while pregnant that contained DHA well my dr gave me a new prescription for a prenatal at my 6 week checkup that he wanted me to take while breastfeeding. the new vitamin did not have DHA in it. So I'm wondering if you all think I should get a supplement of DHA to take. I may call my dr's nurse and see what she says.

I take Rainbow light complete vitamins for prenatal and for breastfeeding. I think it helps with milk production and it contains DHA.

I think the DHA was more important for baby during development in utero, however, I don't think it would hurt to call. I continued to take mine while bfing, but I take an OTC one that has DHA in it. I still take it in fact.

I'm still taking the same prenatals as when I was pregnant. It has DHA in it. Now I started taking some probiotics also since Michael got so sick and the DR said it'll be much easier for him to continue to get sick.

I'm taking prenatals. I don't think they have DHA in them, but I take a DHA supplement.
