Omg it hit me yesterday. After lunch, at work.. . It wasn't pretty. I'm not a dainty puker

I ate a nice big dinner last night and was good. So had a banana and cheerios this morning... not a good idea.

Any advice on what I can eat during the day since I can't seem to keep things down during the day?!

Let me just say, im torn on this topic. Happy to have it as a good sign... But good Lord I hate vomiting! !!

Morning sickness sucks but yes it is such a nice sign. I hated it and loved it all at the same time. with my first pregnancy I ate a ton of crackers seems that was all I could keep down. also butter toast is a good thing. Nice carbs were always easier for me to stomach. Hopefully you can find something to keep down. If it gets too bad you might ask your dr for some meds. I know they help.

I found that I needed protein to keep myself from getting sick. I would need eggs or some sort of breakfast meat to keep myself going and not vomiting. Ginger tea, ginger ale (the real stuff), peppermint tea are all supposed to help with nausea/upset stomach.

I took half a Unisom and a B6 supplement (Bnatals) to help with my nausea, ask your doctor about it. It worked wonders for me!

Hmm I'll have to remember the protein rule.

I already take a b vitamin and magnesium.... which are both supposed to help... so we shall see.

Thank you for the advice ladies!

I just don't want it to happen at work again!!!

Ugh, I'm sorry! Nibbling throughout the day helped me, rather than trying to eat regular meals, as did drinking lots of tea to stay hydrated. It's a catch-22- you can't eat, but having an empty stomach just makes the morning sickness worse. Protein will help you feel fuller longer, so things like yogurt, string cheese, nuts are good small bites that hopefully won't overload you.

Yes, lots of little snacks/meals rather than 3 regular meals. Even if the snack is just crackers, or cheese and nuts. I found that Preggie Pops helped me as well.

It's comforting in a way, isn't it? I couldn't eat a meal for 10 weeks myself. I ate crackers and ginger ale every 1-2 hours.

Sorry you're dealing with morning sickness. I've never had it bad, and I only ever threw up a few times. I did notice that if I didn't eat for a while it got way worse. So I was snacking all day long. I hope it's not too bad for you!

Throwing up isn't fun period so I can imagine doing it at work was kind of horrifying. At least it's a really good sign.

Thanks ladies. I've been trying to snack all day long if I can. Yesterday I started my day with Eggs and Toast. I honestly think that helped. The nauseous feeling was hanging around, but I never actually vomited.

But, like some of you said, I'll take it as s a good sign
