I have an opportunity to go full time at work. I would be working 3 twelve hour shifts. 2 day shifts 6am-6pm one night 6pm-6am.

Money wise it would help so much. My husband isn't done with school until December 2015. Once he got a job I would go back PRN/part time.

But I'm worried to leave my newborn and 2 year old and work full time.

Anyone else do it?

I work PT 6 mos out of the year 9 - 2:30 and the other half I work 6 days a week 9 - 5:30. I go back to work PT in 3 weeks, until August when my extended shift starts.

I'm stressing over leaving my 2 mos old in daycare. I might have an opportunity for in home care for a few days a week, but most likely, that will not pan out. Come August though, I'm stuck.

We cannot manage without my salary so we have no choice. You have to do what you have to do to make ends meet.

I did full time when I had DS, and then when DD1 came along I worked part time for a summer. We were lucky enough that we had paid everything off by then and DH and I decided that it was better for all of us if I could stay home. But I agree with Leia, you do what you have to do to make it all work best for your family.
