I will be 33 weeks tomorrow, since Sunday I've been having some belly troubles. Diarreha, lose BM's. My belly has been extra gassy, pains like I need to rush to the restroom at least once a day. Normal for this state of pregnancy? (with my daughter I was constipated this late in pregnancy) This is VERY unusual for me, normally I'm constipated.

Sorry, I'm not much help. I think constipation is the norm. Did you eat something funny? Maybe a quick chat with your OB would give you a bit of piece of mind.

When I was pregnant with DD1 I had the same issues, but mine stemmed from becoming lactose intolerant while pregnant. If it's been going on that long I'd check with your OB, but chances are it's probably 'normal' since each pregnancy is different.

I've had stretches of time where I was very gassy, and occasionally had a looser stool. Feeling like I had to go BM and rushing to the bathroom to sit there and nothing. (Then I've also had times of constipation).

This is also probably TMI, but I've had the same sensations during my period, same time every cycle. So I assume it has something to do with hormones shifting, which would be very normal for pg. Maybe baby's just having a growth spurt, or you are, or something. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I forgot about my period!! This happens to me during that time too! Ok so I'm glad you brought that up, it probably is hormones.

Thanks girls!

This can also happen prior to going into labor. Your body will clean itself out sometimes, just before going into labor. So, watch for signs for that. not meant to scare you, because I just realized as I wrote that that might just do that. It is likely just hormones, but just keep an eye on it, plus it can lead to dehydration so make sure you stay hydrated!

I read that! That's actually the reason I posted, I don't think I have had any other signs but I'm definately paying more attention. It's just so weird having to go to the restroom this much. If it's still going on by Monday I'll call the Dr. up I guess.

Good! Still a little weird here and there with the BM's lol but I think it's ok. I haven't had anything crazy happen so far!
