So as I sit here (really should be doing laundry - ha) eating some nachos for bfast (I don't normally eat bfast and can't tolerate many foods early in the day), it got me wondering what y'all are eating for bfast (or lunch as some of you are in other time zones or dinner if you're not on board yet)?
And what's for dinner?
Chances are DD and I will have something chicken (probably grilled), with some sauteed zucchini, and salad, maybe rice.
I always eat breakfast. This morning I had an omelet with mushrooms, spinach, bacon and shallots. I usually cut my vegetables up at night and then just throw the omelet together. It's quick and easy. I usually workout first thing in the mornings though so I have to eat breakfast.
Dinner tonight is chicken with apples and bacon in my pressure cooker. I recently pulled out my pressure cooker and I've been cooking alot in it.
I've also been doing alot in the crock pot. It's so hard to cook a good healthy meal with three young children so the crock pot is so nice. I found this website A Year of Slow Cooking and I've been getting alot of recipes from it.
I usually love to cook and I definitely love to eat but it's just so hard to cook when I have a kid hanging from my boob..lol.
Ummm, for breakfast this morning I had a sausage, egg and cheese croissant. For lunch, I had a grilled chicken salad and garlic knots. For snacks - am I had apple and cinnamon granola bar, pm - a slice of chocolate cake
No clue what I am making for dinner...these few weeks I have not been planning, hard for me to know what I will tolerate eating.
Don't get me wrong, I love bfast. But with my lapband I can't tolerate food for awhile after laying down for long. And I've been trying to use my crockpot more. Tonight we had some leftover grilled chicken from lunch and some salad that DD made.
