DS2 has outgrown his bassinet, his feet kick the end, he moves in his sleep to one side - tilting it with his weight, he can grab the top of it while lying down. But I just can't put him in his crib yet, I'm not ready. I set it all up and got a mattress cover so that the mattress fits snugly into the crib and put him in it the other night and sat there for an hour while he laid awake looking at his surroundings. I couldn't walk out. I finally took him out, set up his monitor back in our room and put him in his bassinet. He was asleep in less than 30 seconds.

I'm so stressed over this.

Aw! It's hard. Maybe do it little by little? Have him in the crib just to play, for example?

Hugs momma. We just put Truely in her crib tonight for the first time. I wasn't sure I was ready, but she slept just fine (up for 1 30 feeding now).

Joy, I try to put him in it once a day. We're going away in two week for a weeks vacation and can't take the crib, but can take the bassinet, so it's probably best that he doesn't get used to it yet.

Therese, maybe she'll start sleeping through the night now that she's in the crib? Colt's been sleeping through the night for about 6 weeks now. We are so lucky.
EverydayJoy and Boos Moo like this.

Colt was a super sleeper from the get go if I remember. Truely is still waking up twice a night, but I'm hopeful it will soon be just once a night now that she is setting a bedtime for herself.
