So since last week I've been getting swelling now and then in my left foot (top of my foot) and ankle - nothing in my right at all. It isn't painful just alittle achy and all - just wondering if you think this is normal. I called the dr and they said as long as its not painful its okay and isn't uncommon for it to happen in only one leg/foot. It just seems wierd to me - how do you know when things are okay and not? I get worried about clots and all that - actually I worry about everything! Haha

yes its our nature to worry about everything, even when the doc says "don't worry" after all they didn't go thru what we have!! I'd say its normal.. Just try and evelate your feet that should help with the circulation. My feet and ankles are so bad as well as my fingures&hands I get the pins & Needle effect for hours, nothing seems to help. Its just all the water I think. If your worried about clots, just evelate&have Mike rub your legs!! P.S. Even when things are "ok' we will find something to worry about OL!
I would get this in one of my feet too- especially when I was on my feet for long periods of time. But it wasnt always the same side, some days it was the right and some days it was the left. There were even times I would get swollen to the point where it wasnt like pins and needles, but it felt like on ebig needle going through the tender part of my ankle (like on the top of my foot where it meets my leg.) But it always felt better with a foot massage, and the swelling even went down too. Id say get Mike to rub your feet every night and drink more water to help prevent it!
