Here's the thing you need to remember: measurements are not exact. You can measure as much as 2 weeks off. Some embryos are bigger than others and some grow faster or slower. Maybe your sac is just big. And, I believe, that 5 wks 2 days, a sac would be all you can see.

Try not to worry too much!

Try not to worry. Measurements can be off. Take care.

Yep, at 5w 2d, you should only see the sac and measurements are approximations of gestational age, but there is a lot of variance. I know it's hard, but try not to worry too much. I think you're right on track. When do you go back for another u/s?

I agree try not to worry....measurements could be off a bit & normally 5 weeks is really early to see a heartbeat. Try to stay positive.

In all three of my pregnancy my sac has ALWAYS measured small by a good week. It's never been a problem, and it's actually very normal for things to not measure right on at any stage of a pregnancy. Until at least 6-8 weeks more than likely all the dr can find is the sac.

I would not worry too much. When I got pregnant this time, my dr had me in for an U/S at 6 and 7 weeks. For the 6 week one the tech had to zoom in a million times to even see the little "blip" of the heart beat. The baby only measured .25cm. Still really small at this stage. You should be able to see the baby and heart beat in a few weeks.
