The last couple of days on and off I've gotten what almost feels like the cramps you get a few days period your period comes. They aren't painful or really even bad I just notice it. The baby is moving around plenty so I'm sure he's okay - I'm just wondering if the cramps mean anything at all. I'm feeling pretty blah as I like to put it the last few days anyway, nauseaus, leg cramps, tired and so on but the cramping is something that I wonder if should cause me concern. Anyone else getting this or know what it could be???? I called the dr and they said it could be some bh contractions but that if theres no bleeding its fine. But I'm still nervous - I have my regular checkup tomorrow night which now seems like forever away - just wondering if anyone had/has this or feels I should get in earlier or anything.

I get those too - it's been so long, it took me a while to realize they felt like period cramps! Doc is right, could be BH, mine were always a bit crampy. Now I'm having "real" contractions, and they feel like the same thing, just a ton stronger.

So I don't know exactly why or anything, but just wanted to say you are not the only one

Oh, it can also be from baby flipping to the head down position, all that pressure on that area all of a sudden can cause the cramps.

I've always heard to drink extra water and lay on your left side with your feet up to see if that relieves the cramps. Dehydration can cause cramping. I was told I should be drinking half my body weight in water each day. Yikes! I'm too scared to convert that to ounces.

I hope you get feeling better and am glad that you have a check scheduled for tomorrow.

I had it around 32 weeks with both Corey and Sadie. I had the test to test for pre term labor with both and it came out negative. I even went to L&D with Sadie to rule out preterm labor. The L&D nurse I saw then (who oddly enough was the same one I had when I delievered Sadie too) told me if the cramps/contractions last less than 45 seconds then they are just cramps, not to worry, longer than 45 seconds and they are contractions and to call immediately. Hope that helps.

Also remember, 4 cramps/contractions within an hour warrents a call to the OB or a trip to L&D.

It could just be the baby being low but drink water and lie on your left side and that should help a little.

I wish I could be more helpful - but I wanted to at least offer some (((hugs))) to try & help relieve the worry.

I got those a lot toward the end, but for some reason I wasnt too worried and luckily everything obviously was fine. But I do remember thinkning, "This is the same type of cramping that had me FREAKED out in the beginning of my pregnancy!" Yeah, it felt like af, but since I was further along I didnt worry. I am sure its normal! Just wait for the labor cramps! he he he!!!

Thank you all so much as usual!! I don't know what it is but I'm worrying myself sick the last few days. I'm just so scared at this point of things going wrong that I'm miserable and horrible to be around. I'm cranky and scared all the time and the cramps and contractions which I know are normal are just making me worse. Honestly I should have to be locked up alone until he comes.
