I am so happy to hear all of you are pregnant again, and am also sorry for you previous loss. I am 10 weeks and 2 days along and just read that 2 women m/c'd at 13 weeks and the other at 14weeks. I was wondering if those of you that have had an m/c, did you have a normal u/s prior to the m/c?
I went in for my first OB apt at 8 weeks, saw the heartbeat and everything looked goood. At 10 weeks we went to the Genetics specialist (I'm 35) and they said the baby had stopped developing and there was no heart beat. So somewhere after the normal 8 week ultrasound, the baby had died.
I had not had n u/s but we had heard a heartbeat at 13 weeks. When I went back at 17 weeks there was no heartbeat and an u/s showed our baby measured at 13-14 weeks along when growth stopped. Otherwise I had been having a very normal easy pregnancy and never suspected anything was wrong. My dr did tell me that it is uncommon to m/c after the first trimester.

My baby's heart stopped beating at 7 weeks. I had never had an ultrasound. I sensed something wasn't right from the begining though. It took so long to get a positive, I took lots of EPTs and they were all weak. Your chance of miscarriage does drop dramatically after the 1st tri, which is around 13 weeks. It does still happen, it isn't all that common percentage wise though.

I had a small amt of pinkish mucous around 10 weeks and had an u/s which was completely normal. I m/c'd at 14 weeks, 2 days after a routine appt where there was no heartbeat but ob assured me that it was still early, we would try to hear again in 2 weeks. 2 days after that appt, I m/c'd with no cramps or any of the other typical warning signs.
