Some of you may remember that I was admitted to the hospital on 9/27 for a shortened cervix and pre-term labor. I was 25w5d at that point.

Since then I have stayed here in the hospital!!! 8 weeks today. I have been on different meds to stop my contrax's and they have been successful. I am still having a few contrax's but my cervix is not changing, so they are ok w/the amount of contrax's that I am having.

So, the dr's are telling me that I get to go home on Wednesday or at least Thursday!!! I cannot wait!!! I am sooooo excited. I am ready to be at home. I will still be on bedrest, but at least I can do it in the comfort of my own home. I will also start back to work since I can work at home. At least that will give me something to do all day. It will make the days go by that much faster.

As far as baby goes, everything is GREAT!!! I had an u/s on 11/15 and baby is measuring right on schedule. Weight is approximately 4lbs 9oz. I know that weights vary, but that made DH and I very happy. Baby is moving all the time....is head down and loves to get his/her feet right up under my ribs. Makes it very uncomfy!!! I just lay down and that helps.

Glad to have all the newbies here!!!! Good Luck to you!!! After two losses, I know how difficult all of this is.

I'm glad to hear that you are all doing well and that you'll get to go home soon - I'm sure you'll be much happier being in your own home and own bed!

Wow I cannot imagine staying in the hospital for 8 weeks! At least it will totally pay off in the end. I hope you have a good time coming home.

Yay for going home! It will be nice to be in your own bed, not attached to any machines or anyone constantly coming in to check something. Truly something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!

That's great! I was just telling my DH about you today, and I said that I hoped things were still going okay (as well as can be, anyway) and that the baby had stayed put. Have fun at home!
