Kannon has been trying so hard to con us out of food lately. He's completely breast-fed, but every time I eat, he opens and closes his mouth and stares at my food. He makes little grunting sounds the whole time. He's also been developing his freakishly good hand and arm control. (See where this is going?)

Tonight, I was eating turkey and holding Kannon. I put the turkey on the opposite side of my chest because he AND a cat were watching me. I was going to put the plate down for the cat, but Kannon QUICKLY reached across my chest, grabbed the turkey, and brought it to his mouth and started gnawing! Of course, I was shocked and laughing so hard that I didn't take it away immediately. The pepper stung a little bit and he just stuck his tongue out...and went right back to chewing!

I think that he's not going to let us go past 4 months exclusively breastfeeding him...

Thats funny! Leah already seems very interested in food, but she never grabs at it!

Our doc said not until 4 months and he's not even 3 months yet. Still, I think that I might be sneaky and just be careful about what I give him. Does this seem like horrible parenting?
