Hi ladies. I recognize a lot of names here.. but for any that don't know me, I'll start with a brief intro. I'm Colleen, DH is Steve. We were soooo excited to get pg in September, but lost our baby on October 14th. Our doctor cleared us to TTC right away, so we did. And it only took 2 cycles - yay! I've been getting light lines, slowly gettin darker since Saturday morning. I'll be calling my doctor later today to schedule my first Beta level blood test.

I am excited to see that second line.. but also terrified that I'll just lose this one in a few weeks also I noticed someone saying in a different post about the blissful ignorance of pregnancy being gone was the worst thing about the m/c .. and gosh am I feeling that now. I just am hoping and praying that this will be a sticky little bean! I think I'll start feeling better about it after I start getting beta numbers back.

UPDATE:
At 14 DPO, my HCG was already at 366! That's already WAY higher than it ever was with my m/c!!

Woohoo! Looks like it'll be a sticky! I can call in tomorrow to try to get today's results since I went early this morning.

Congratulations on your lil miracle! I know exactly how you feel, after I got my BFP, I was wishing I didn't know, and I even refused getting bloodwork for my hcg, cause I just couldn't handle the stress of waiting..... that was of course knowing I don't have a history of progesterone problems. I just told comfort in watching my symptoms, and once we could hear a h/b the doc has gone out of his way to make sure we get in lots, so that I don't worry.

Congratulations! I was the one who made the blissful ignorance comment, so I can relate. I'm only a couple weeks ahead of you and I'm still here! It's tough but we're all here to help support one another.

Congrats honey!!! I'm so glad to see that you're pregnant again! I'll be praying that this one is sticky!

I got in for my first official appointment/ultrasound at 7 weeks, since the Dr. wanted to give me peace of mind about it. A lot of girls on the DDC commented about how jealous they were.

What did I say? "Don't be. I'm only getting it because I lost my first one. I'd rather have to wait like you."

Yeah, I don't think pregnancy will ever be the same for us. But, according to my mother (who lost her first at 21 weeks) "It gets easier with each successful pregnancy you have."

Welcome! I can totally relate to your fear - we had two early m/c's this year before getting pregnant this time (thankfully, this one seems to have stuck), and the first few weeks were torture for me. I kept expecting something to go wrong. I have more or less settled into this pregnancy now, but I still have my moments of absolute fear (I was in a total panic for my big u/s this morning - you can ask the girls on the pregnant after recurrent loss board!)...hang in there...what I can say is that these boards were incredible in helping me through those early, uncertain times. I swear, they were the only things that got me through some days. :-)

Good luck - sending lots of sticky vibes your way!

congratulations on your BFP how exciting for you!

I had a m/c last november, and we got pregnant on our 3rd cycle trying - I've just given birth to a beautiful baby girl, after being soooooooooooo scared of having another m/c (and then scared of losing her later in pregnancy)

Congrats!! I also got pregnant very soon after my m/c and this pregnancy has been going very good. Those first few weeks of worry are the hardest to overcome. Hang in there and keep thinking positively.

Thanks everyone. It's so nice to be able to come here and look at so many of you who have recently given birth.. or are pretty darn far along in your pregnancies. It gives me hope that this WILL work out for me!!

Congratulations! I'm not very much farther along than you, so I totally understand the apprehension. Here's to little milestones!

Congrats to you all on your BFP's. Hopefully we will be getting one soon here in the next couple of months. I have PCOS and miscarried our little one at 5 weeks, 5 days. It was our first pregnancy and we were devestated after trying for 13 months. Did the women that were successful after m/c (which looks like many of you were!) have a d & c? I have one scheduled for the 20th of December. Also, I took Clomid the first time to get pregnant, based on your experience will I more than likely have to take it again or will it be easier for me to conceive this time?

Thanks again congrats again to everyone, I wish you all a healthy and happy 9 months and a blessed holiday season.
