I had a follow up u/s today and our little guy has a heartbeat of 150! I'm measuring 6w 6d which is one day behind my calculations so that's fine. The u/s tech was super nice. She explained everything and showed where the placenta would form, where the umbilical cord is, how there wasn't any bleeding around the area. She said it looked like it had implanted very well and things looked very good. It was so surreal. I'm still not sure it has sunk in yet since I think I'm just protecting myself from getting hurt. Dh was even emotional, which is unlike him, but he's been so amazingly supportive.
Anyway, I'll attach photos although I had to take pictures of the pictures so I don't know how great they are.
Sounds like this one's determined to stick! It's OK to still be nervous, though. I think we all are/will be until we're holding our little ones. Then we'll still be nervous, but in a totally different way!
The pics look great!
