So, after me throwing up all day, DH decided he was hungry and asked if we could go out. I thought, well, I might as well try to eat SOMETHING. I didn't throw it up though, but I DID have rather severe diarrhea. Now my lower back hurts really bad. Is that something to worry about?

I think you are probably just sore from all the activity down there, I don't think there is anything seriously wrong. But, if the pain gets more severe or you get crampy from it, call your Dr. and let him check you out. It's what they are there for.

I hope you are feeling better soon!

I was really worried about lower back pain when I was pregnant. Had episodes of strong lower back pain that would start and stop suddenly and was really concerned that it might be an mc or premature labor but it was nothing. I would ask your doctor at the next appointment but don't worry about it.

Hope you feel better.

Thanks ladies. That's basically what the girls in my DDC said too. It didn't occur to me that kneeling in front of the porcelain throne would cause backache...duh.

Thanks for the well wishes. I hope I get better soon too. I was thinking back on it, and calculating it out, and I didn't start to feel any better with Cora until about 16 or so weeks. I never DID stop throwing up with her, but that's when I could eat basically normally and wasn't on medication anymore. So I think I can hold out for another month....maybe...

I'm not as sick this time, but after last time, I think I deserve to be not sick at all!

I would imagine it's related to all the vomitting etc, but if you're EVER worried, go and get checked out - i always found the reassurance from a medical type person eased me a bit
