OK, this is probably a silly thing.. I am FREAKING out since my thyroid levels were so low. I seem to be just waiting to lose this baby and am convinced I will have a late m/c. I even had a bad dream about it!! Anyway, I spotted a bit yesterday and I KNOW it was from DTD... I have been on pelvic rest since I got prego and it was finally OKed on Monday... So, anyway... After that, I was convinced my back hurt... basically any sign of a m/c, I could find it! Something I have had for a few weeks is an increase in CM... Anyone also have that in pregnancy?? I just concerns me as I don't remember this from my DD...

JennO

PS. I am becoming SO much of a psycho, I rented a doppler... I didn't figure I would ever do that... Hopefully this helps put my mind to ease...

DOH!! Database ate my reply!!

I've had increased CM this entire pg. I've worn a liner pretty much every day, especially since hitting the second trimester. So much for saving on the cost of feminine products for 9 months!

Spotting can be pretty typical after DTD when pg, especially if DH goes too deep and irritates your cervix. I don't let DH go as deep as he'd like to, because it makes me really uncomfortable for a day or so afterwards. DTD can also make your back sore, though mine's sore pretty much every day.

If you're still really worried, call your doc. That's what they're there for.

Really, though, it sounds to me like you're just pregnant!

Thanks for the reply... I am just so worried. I had preterm labor last time and had no idea... a male co-worker and his wfe were trying to get prego at the time and he was always a bit more concerned about me because he had been through so much. Anyway, he told me to call the Dr because I just didn't feel right. Thank goodness Iistened as I was dilated and effaced... I guess I am worried about that too. I will bring it up at my next appt... The cm is driving me nuts!! I just think I am spotting or something and find myself in the bathroom constantly... I will try to calm down...

I had a lot of CM all through pregnancy. Also drove me nuts cause I often thought I was bleeding and I would rush to the bathroom.

I loved my doppler. Hope yours gives you peace of mind.

I have had LOTS AND LOTS of cm since getting pregnant, and, like Kathryn, I think it's increased in the last little bit (I'm only 2 days into the 2nd tri).

I wear a pantyliner all day, and I've been changing it at night, before bed, too! UGH!

I hope you'll be okay honey! *TRY* to relax (I know that's hard to do)

Thanks ladies... I am a psychologist, I should have thought of this before... We are headed to Colorado on Friday. The last time we were in Colorado, I had a m/c. My inlaws did not know I was prego at the time (we told them 2 days before the m/c) and they do not this time. They will find out on Christmas. So, I am anxious about that... I am about 4 weeks further along, but I am still nervous... Believe it or not, I am nervous about telling them I am prego. Who knows why... Anyway, my doppler should arrive today or tomorrow... I did get faster shipping because of the holidays and being away.

sweety, I was exactly the same. any symptom that seemed slightly abnormal, I would be in tears & ringing my midwife...

increased vaginal discharge is VERY normal!!!!!!! My midwife told me it's a really good sign, something to do with the hormones and all It got to the point near the end of my pregnancy that I almost had to wear pads, I was that wet!

I hope the doppler helps to ease your fears a bit.. it is very normal to worry about loss, esp after you've already experienced a pregnancy loss... but you will get there in the end hun
