So, DH surprised me this morning. Out of nowhere, he said, "So, what do you think of Rielle Erin? Or Erin Rielle?" I rather like it.
However, I would want to call the baby Rielle, and it has always bothered me when people are like "This is John Thomas, but we call him Thomas." Why not just give the kid Thomas as a first name?? But I think that Rielle makes a better middle name. So what do you ladies honestly think sound better?
Sounds like us Brit.... for a boy we've chosen William James Carr, but we will call him James. I view it like it's no different that a nickname really, my youngest is Sebastien, but I never liked the shortend Bazz or Seb, or Bastien, so we picked Shae for his nickname.
Definitely perfer Erin Rielle, course I'm Erin Michelle so I may be a bit partial LOL
Brit, I am with you with the whole name thing- if you name your kid something, call him that or name him what you call him! But really, every kid has a nickname, and whats the difference, right? We started calling Leah Leah Lu, something that just seemed to roll off our tongue, but now it is shortened to just Lu, which is nowhere found in her name! So I am contradicting my own opinion when I say call him what you name him! I personally like the way Erin Rielle sounds, but Rielle is prettier sounding to me than erin, so I dont know!
