Hello lovely ladies I hope this post finds you all happily pregnant & counting down the days until your little one's arrive!
Gaby is now TWO MONTHS & 1 WEEK OLD! I cannot believe how much time has past since I gave birth to her. At times it seems like a lifetime ago, although other days it seems like it was only last week. She will be 10 weeks old on Thursday! She has started grinning all the time now, and it's easy to get a grin out of her. My favourite part of the day is going in to pick her up from her cot when she wakes up for the day, just looking at me she gives me a HUGGGGGE grin. Me & Stu race each other to her room, to see who can get the biggest grin.
Scarily, she has started TEETHING already! I thought it was just a developmental stage (around 2 months they find there hands & enjoy sucking on them lol), but after going to the doctor & the plunket (child) nurse, they confirmed she is infact teething (I was in denial about the whole thing!). We had a few nasty days last week, a mix of teething, growth spurt & getting over the hustle & bustle of Christmas & all the weird family members (LOL).
She's also started 'talking' - you know, the cut gooing & gaaing that they do early on.. it's so adorable. Each day she seems to find a new pitch or tone, it's adorable - and quite amazing really. They honestly develop further each and everyday. Her latest 'trick' is to click her tongue! It's a strange sound, but very cute all the same! The most exciting devleopmental milestone she's reached is.... SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! LOL go Gaby! It's amazing going from getting up 1-3 times during the night, to going to sleep at 10.30 & waking up at 7-9am!
Gaby is adorable! Thanks for the update!
I have been thinking Leah is teething too- she went from sleeping throught the night to now getting up again, and it could be the fact that we were in CA and she didnt have her own bed, but she has been biting on her gums a lot too and I remember Ethan got his first tooth at 5 months, which is right around the corner for Leah!
They do grow fast, dont they?
