Hello everyone, I didn't know this board was here tell today when I noticed it.

I got a BFP at 10 dpo last Friday. We had been TTC since my last m/c in June 2006. My AF took almost 3 months to start after the D&C though so we had been trying for 5 cycles when I finally got pregnant again.
.
I have a son with a brain disorder called Joubert Syndrome and he has visual impairments. Its genetic so we have a 25% chance of having another baby with Joubert again.

I will have several u/s and a few fetal MRI's as well during my pregnancy to see if this child has Joubert as well. So basically my fears right now are another m/c but once we get through that stepping stone I get to worry about the Joubert lol, but I am not as worried about that.

We are okay with having another child like our son, but of course would prefer a child with out the brain disorder.

So I have a long 9 months ahead of me, but I am actually feeling really upbeat so far.

I have yet to make a OB appointment but will next week probably. I guess I am in no hurry to go because I know how no news is good news.

I plan to go around 7 weeks for my first appointment so I can hopefully see the heartbeat. I might go in sooner for bloodwork though since my OB knows my history of m/c. I have had 2 m/c total.

Sorry for all my rambling, but to I look forward to getting to know you all better and hopefully helping with support as well.

Congratulations Jess! I'm so glad to see you here! I know how hard it is to not worry. I finally got the courage to not worry from a TV Guide Magazine horoscope that told me things are going to work out okay so not to worry. LOL! Since I've read it however, I've been much more at peace. I hope some sign comes your way that helps you feel secure in your pregnancy.

Congratulations again! I'm cheering for you!

Welcome Jess! I'm glad you made it over! I'm so very excited for you.

I hope that this pregnancy isn't too worrisome for you, but...that's probably asking a bit much.

When are you due?

Congrate's!!!!!

I'm so happy to see you over here and pg!!!!! I can relate to putting off seeing a dr and living with no news is good news. I think that's a pretty common feeling. I truly wish you all the best hun!!!!!

Welcome Jess!! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a healthy pregnancy. I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry. I try to keep myself busy so that I don't think about all of the "what if's" We're here for you.
