I did not actually miscarry. My dr called it a missed abortion when the baby dies but a m/c does not occur right away. I had a d&c and had spotting for just 2 days. That was at 17 weeks. I dont know how long it lasts for a natural m/c.

im so sorry of your loss.
with my first m/c everything happend in less than 12 hours, it was very fast and a bit of a shock, i was at 11 weeks.
i miscarried a second time at 8 weeks and bled for 2 weeks, it was a very long and drawn out process and i was in so much pain for many days, it was horrible.
