cramping question

hi ladies! just wanted to know if anyone here has had period like cramping that radiates into the back. i was up all last night with this weird cramping, surging feeling. this morning i felt it in my back too. i called the dr and she is suppose to call me back but was just wondering.

i know some cramping is normal just don't know how much and is it the period like cramps. thanks

I don't know. I am so confused on all the cramps I have. Mine come and go. I will have them like one day then nothing for several days. I don't really have cramps before AF so I am not sure on that. Hopefully your doc can help.

it's really normal to have cramping, especially in the first few weeks of pregnancy (ie 4-10), try not to worry, unless the pain is excruciating or you have bleeding. I found that my cramping was worst around 6-7 weeks, and then by 9 weeks the cramping had changed totally, and while i still had it, it was more of a 'stretching' type cramp, as opposed to a contracting type cramp

Your uterus has a WHOLLLLE lotta stretching to do, so cramping is to be expected

thanks so much!! i am in my 7th week so i guess things are starting to take off. i thought that's what it is but just wanted some other opinions.
