I had my first ultrasound tonight! Although the tech couldn't tell me much he did tell me that he did see a gestational sac and the corpus lateum cyst is gone. Did anyone here ever have this happen to them? Is the sac supposed to disappear?

Please forgive me if I read this post wrong but you said the tech said the gestational sac was there. Then you asked if the sac was meant to disappear. Did your gestational sac disappear? Or are you refering to the cyst? I went for a ultrasound at nearly 6 weeks pregnant and they said I had a cyst and it disappeared over the weeks.

The cyst disappered. I went to the doctor and got my quants 2day and it was 6000. My ultrasound and the gestational sac they saw was just early preg they think. I am rescheduled for another ultrasound next week.

the gestational sac being present is great! I think when you're still very early pregnant, that can be the best indicator of a healthy pregnancy.
